Moving Along

We are moving along with plans....This past week was hectic.  First there was the extremely successful Spring Concert with Michael Londra.   What a delight he is.   The audience seemed to enjoy the show tremendously, as I knew they would -  so now on to the next things.

Many of you know we are working with the city on a "plan of action"  for the Alexander.   Of course, nothing will be possible until we start raising some money.  After all we do need to pay for the building.   We are very fortunate to have Johnson Architects in our corner.  Between John D  and Kristin Groves we are guided through the process of working with the city.    They are planning a Community Meeting during the week of April 12 -  stay tuned for exact date, time and place.  

Boys Night Out will be performing at a benefit concert outside The Alexander in May...date still to be dcetermined.   But it is guaranteed to be fun.

Amanda Caldwell Long is working on a Bar-b-que Cook Off at Grove Center in May -  that should be a lot of fun.  There will be music and dancing included.  So keep your eye out for that event.

And, of course we are working hard on Lavender Festival.   Truthfully - Barbara Ferrell is working hard on Lavender Festival.   All I'm doing is working toward getting a beer license!
