Oak Ridge Sustainable Energy & Enviornment Expo

The Oak Ridge Revitalization Effort in partnership with the City of Oak Ridge, the Environmental Quality Advisory Board, Arcadis, ORNL, Oak Ridge Schools and, the Oak Ridge Convention and Visitors Bureau will be hosting the premier Oak Ridge Sustainable Energy and Environment Expo (ORSEEE) on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Oak Ridge Civic Center.  This event will be free to the public.

To plan and execute a one day educational event for the public on what sustainability is all about and how this is being used in our very own area by some of our top local companies.

  • An opportunity for people to come and freely learn what some of our own companies are doing in sustainable development-the use of renewable energy sources, recycling and other practices of green technology.
  • We'd like to include education for the public on ways they can help reduce their own carbon footprint and the importance of this for future generations.
  • We'd like to have experts on hand for talks and for folks to be able to ask questions, for demonstrations, literature, and anything that your company wants to contribute to
  • making this event as concerning sustainability.
